We have 60 places available for prospective applicants for our Reception Classes.
Parents will be able to make their primary online application from 1 November 2026.
The closing date for applications is 15 January 2027.
An application can be made by following the link: Admission to Primary School - Staffordshire County Council.
Parents receive outcomes on National Offer Day, 16 April 2027.

Reception Admissions 2027/28
Nursery & Little Lanterns Pre-School (2-year-olds) Admissions
Applications for Nursery places for 2026/27 will be processed and co-ordinated by Cheslyn Hay Primary Academy.
To register your interest in a Nursery place, please contact the academy office on 01922 667950 or email office@cheslynhayprimary.academy.
Offers of Nursery places will be emailed to those who have been successful.
We have three Nursery intakes throughout the year and you can apply for a place for the term after your child turns three.
For example:
If your child turns three before 31st December 2026 you can apply for your child to begin nursery on 4th January 2027.
If your child turns three before 31st March 2027 you can apply for your child to begin nursery on 12th April 2027.
If your child turns three before 31st August 2027 you can apply for your child to begin nursery on 2nd September 2027.
In-Year Admissions
Please complete the following application form, which we will process and advise you of the outcome within 10-15 working days. A copy of this letter will also be sent to Staffordshire Admissions. If we are unable to offer your child a place you have the right to appeal the decision and further information will be provided in the letter.
